Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about done-for-you implementation, workflow automation, AI systems, pricing, scope, access, and how projects work.

codeofwhisper helps small businesses, freelancers, and consultants solve repetitive, messy, or fragile digital processes. Done-for-you implementation is the primary service, with Guided Support available when collaborative diagnosis or live problem-solving is the better fit.

Before You Reach Out

Do I need to know exactly what kind of solution I need?

No. You can describe the business problem in ordinary language.

You do not need to know whether the answer is workflow automation, AI, a website fix, an integration, custom code, or a technical infrastructure change. codeofwhisper first clarifies what is actually causing the friction and recommends the least complicated solution that can solve it reliably.

Who is codeofwhisper for?

codeofwhisper works with small businesses, freelancers, consultants, independent professionals, and small teams that need practical help with repetitive digital work, AI-enabled processes, websites, integrations, or technical systems.

The best fit is usually a clearly defined business problem where implementation can save time, reduce manual work, improve reliability, or make an existing system easier to operate.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You do not need technical terminology to start.

Explain what happens today, what feels repetitive, fragile, slow, confusing, or difficult to maintain, and what you would like to improve. Technical choices come after the problem is understood.

How Projects Work

What happens after I start a conversation?

Your inquiry is reviewed first to understand the problem, the systems involved, the likely scope, and whether more information is needed.

If the request appears to fit, the next step is focused clarification or discovery. Once the situation is clear enough, you receive a recommendation describing the proposed approach, scope, important boundaries, estimated completion, and price before paid implementation begins.

Why is there a discovery step before payment?

Because the right solution depends on how your current process actually works.

Discovery helps avoid paying for the wrong tool, unnecessary custom development, or an automation that does not fit the real business process. It also helps identify access requirements, hidden dependencies, risks, and which actions should remain under human control.

Will I receive a recommendation before paying?

Yes. When the request is clear enough, codeofwhisper provides a recommendation before payment.

For done-for-you work, the recommendation defines the agreed implementation scope and price. For Guided Support, it defines the focus of the live session. Recommendations are intended to establish a responsible paid next step, not to provide a complete unpaid technical design.

How long is a recommendation valid?

Recommendations are normally valid for 14 calendar days.

Scope, price, timing, and availability are based on the situation when the recommendation is prepared. If the recommendation expires, the request may need to be reviewed again before a new one is issued.

Done-For-You & Guided Support

What is Done-For-You implementation?

Done-for-you implementation is the primary way codeofwhisper works with clients.

It means codeofwhisper carries out the agreed hands-on work, which may include workflow redesign, automation, AI assistants or bounded agents, website changes, integrations, technical configuration, migrations, cleanup, or custom technical work where simpler options are not enough.

Done-for-you work is custom scoped because the complexity can range from connecting existing tools to building a more substantial operational system.

What is Guided Support?

Guided Support is a live collaborative session for situations where you want to work through the problem together instead of handing over the implementation.

It can be used for diagnosis, workflow mapping, AI use-case review, architecture discussion, troubleshooting, or collaborative implementation. Optional screen sharing may be used when it helps.

How do I know whether I need Done-For-You or Guided Support?

You do not need to decide before contacting codeofwhisper.

Done-for-you is usually the better fit when you want the solution implemented for you. Guided Support is usually better when you want to understand the problem, make decisions together, troubleshoot interactively, or carry out the implementation yourself with expert help.

How much does support cost?

Guided Support has a fixed session price shown on the Services page for each service area.

Done-for-you implementation is custom priced because workload, complexity, risk, integrations, access requirements, and the amount of custom development can vary substantially. The price is confirmed in the recommendation before implementation begins.

Automation, AI & Custom Systems

Do you always use AI?

No. AI is used only where it adds real value.

Some problems are better solved with ordinary automation, a clearer process, an existing SaaS tool, an API integration, or straightforward custom logic. codeofwhisper does not add AI simply because it is fashionable.

Can codeofwhisper build an AI assistant or agent?

Yes, when the use case is clear, bounded, and suitable for the business process.

Work can include defining the job, selecting the right tools, connecting the AI to the surrounding workflow, setting permission boundaries, adding human approval points, testing the behavior, and documenting how the system should be operated.

What is the difference between an AI assistant, an AI workflow, and an AI agent?

An AI assistant generally helps a person with tasks such as drafting, summarizing, researching, or answering questions. An AI workflow places AI inside a repeatable business process. An AI agent can carry out a defined task or sequence of tasks within set boundaries.

A fully autonomous agent is not always the best answer. A simpler assistant, workflow, or ordinary automation may be safer, cheaper, and easier to maintain.

Can you build a custom system from scratch?

Potentially, when the business problem genuinely requires it.

codeofwhisper first checks whether the problem can be solved by configuring existing tools, connecting systems, or adding lightweight custom logic. Larger custom systems may include a database, backend logic, dashboards, integrations, permissions, deployment, and testing, and are scoped as larger implementation projects.

Scope, Changes & Delivery

How is the project scope decided?

Scope is based on the inquiry, clarification, and discovery process.

The goal is to define what will be implemented, what is not included, the systems and access involved, important boundaries, expected completion, and any assumptions that affect the work. Once accepted, the agreed scope becomes the working boundary for the project.

What if hidden issues appear during implementation?

Hidden dependencies, missing access, undocumented systems, or technical blockers sometimes become visible only after implementation begins.

When that happens, codeofwhisper explains the issue and its impact. Newly discovered complexity is not silently absorbed into the original scope. The project may need to be narrowed, phased, or extended through a separate agreed scope.

Can the project change direction after work begins?

Small adjustments may be possible when they still fit the agreed scope.

A material change in objective, systems, features, or implementation requirements may require a revised recommendation, a continuation, or a separate project.

What happens after implementation is finished?

The completed work is tested and prepared for handover according to the agreed scope.

Where appropriate, handover may include operating notes, access or configuration information, recovery guidance, or a short stabilization period for issues directly related to the delivered work. New features or unrelated changes are treated as new scope.

Access, Safety & Practical Details

Will I need to share passwords or account access?

Only when access is necessary for the agreed work.

Access should be kept as limited as possible. Where practical, collaborator accounts, temporary access, delegated permissions, or screen sharing are preferred over sharing primary passwords. Access requirements should be clear before implementation begins.

How do you handle automation that could affect customers or important business actions?

Sensitive or consequential actions should not be automated blindly.

Where appropriate, codeofwhisper designs human review or approval points, limits what a workflow or AI system may access, and keeps the automation bounded to the task it is meant to perform.

Do you work remotely and internationally?

Yes. codeofwhisper is based in Germany and provides remote support internationally in English.

Guided sessions require workable timezone overlap. Done-for-you implementation can often proceed with less live coordination because most of the work is carried out within the agreed project scope.

What does codeofwhisper not do?

codeofwhisper does not provide emergency IT response, physical device repair, enterprise IT management, advanced cybersecurity consulting, unlimited outsourced operations, or open-ended responsibility for a client's entire technology environment.

Projects are accepted only where the scope can be understood, delivered responsibly, and supported with appropriate technical and operational boundaries.

Have a business process, AI idea, website problem, or technical system that needs fixing?

Describe what is happening now and what you want to improve. You do not need to know the technical solution before reaching out.
